Hitler

              Hitler is my idol.

Now hold on a second… don’ freak out on me. Deep breath, in… out…. That’s right. Remain calm, and continue reading.

Hitler is my idol. His brilliant mind and ability to see the world through rose colored classes tainted only by his vision of what a utopia would looked like, is inspiring. His dedication to a single dream, his drive to complete the mission no matter the cost, and the nonchalant manner in which he somehow seems to pull off that horrid mustache are just a few reasons I envy the man. I only wish that I could similarly support a single ambition so fervently. He raised the communist party out of the ashes and made people proud to be German communists.

Hitler was quite brilliant. He took what he knew of the human mind and pondered it thoroughly so as I form a plan that was a sure success. Of course… what he knew about the human mind completely ignored all that we know about economics, how man lives, and what gives man hope and incentive. If we could ignore our desire to improve out living conditions, the success rate of capitalism, the utter failures that markets with no competition resulted in, and how Hitler’s lack of government and of man controlling man, meant that one man governed or controlled all the rest, we all would probably be speaking German.

Charisma is an amazing trait. One that Hitler happened to have. Millions of Germans heard Hitler speak and were convinced that communism was best for the world and that it was their job to force this good on the world. While the rest of the world didn’t really know what kind of government they had, Hitler was proud to stand up and claim Communism. Today there are liberals, conservatives, independents, socialists, communists, pacifists, pessimists, optimists, and those who really don’t know. So many people are confused on just what they are. It’s slightly scary to clam a title. If you say your on the Right, then the left wing liberals will have PETA yell at you when you try to eat a hamburger. If you claim the left, you’ll find right wing conservatives picketing your yard. If you claim to be socialist or communist, you’ll either be congratulated on finally accepting the truth, or murdered for trying to take over the world. Neither option seems particularly enjoyable.

I wish I could meet Hitler so he could convince me that I was a communist. It would be so much simpler if I could just have someone else tell me what I believe. Having to decide for my self is exhausting. Why can’t Hitler just come back from the grave, hold a rally, and convince me that communism is the way to go? Hitler has had some followers who have tried to do so, but they lacked his charismatic charm and mustache, so sadly not very many people were convinced.

Personally, I’m not really sure which political camp I‘m in. I am generally more conservative than the liberals, but in some ways I’m more liberal than a lot of conservatives.  I think Hitler’s plan was brilliant, but I don’t think it was the right thing to do. I think that war is sometimes necessary and sometimes its not.  Sometimes diplomacy is the best option and sometimes we need a leader to tell us what to do. Killing children is wrong but killing a soldier isn’t always wrong. Frankly, its all just a confusing mess. I don’t want to have to decide what all those jumbles statements means I believe. I don’t want to have to choose just one label. Society will take that label and believe that it defines me. Apparently I can’t define my own label. Apparently I have to be under the jurisdiction of a preset label and I have to live under that label’s ideals and beliefs. It’s a pain up the wazoo. Hitler needs to come back. We need a dictator to tell us what we believe in.  America doesn’t need political choices. We don’t need all these parties. We just need a dictator.

SO… basically, we need either to find a dictator, or give up on trying to claim one political party and just believe what we believe and get on with our life. We get so bogged down in the titles and forget about the issues. Hitler would be ashamed. He knew what he wanted. He knew what we wanted. He even knew what we needed. Hitler just needs to come back.  Maybe I just need to make up my mind. Maybe I should choose a party to support. Maybe once I choose I could dedicate my self to a single mission and fervently work toward one goal. Maybe if I was completely behind one party then I could be the next Hitler. Then I could convince people of what they really need and try and take over most of the world. It could happen. Dictators rule. No pun intended.

*Disclaimer: if this blog frightens you or you think that I might be part of a communist takeover, see my first post/disclaimer and take a chill pill. It’s called irony dear reader :)

  1. i vote for just believing what we believe and getting on with our lives. no one party or label has it all right, and backing one completely gives it a sort of absolute power (=dictatorship. but hey! good thing? :P). so let's just live for the issues. that's what you admire hitler for, after all, right?!

[you pull off irony quite well, my dear.]

  2. haha. well thank you. :) I enjoy irony quite much.

I think Americans need to step up and take responsibility for their actions and quit worrying about one part vs. another. Aren't er all just trying to clean America up?

P.S. I'm not actually a communist, or fascist, or socialist. I simply enjoy confusing peoples minds. :-p
